The Fair Parade, Friday, July 10 at 6:30 pm is coming together with float, golf cart entries, school groups, Shriners, etc. Leading the parade will be the Boy Scouts carrying the flag, law enforcement, fire department, EMS. Following will be Mr. & Mrs. Osage City, Bill & Kathy Lincoln, and the Parade Marshal, Becky Brewer.
In conjunction with the Fair Parade, the Osage City Chamber of Commerce along with the Osage City Rural Fire Department offer the opportunity for students kindergarten through the fifth grade to color a theme picture with the anticipation of getting selected to ride on the Fire Truck in the Parade on Friday, July 10. There were a lot of entries this year and the selection process was a very difficult task. The selected students that will ride on the fire truck were Oliver Keeffe, Genevieve Espinoza, Clara Treinen, Collyn Gonsalez, Charlotte Ferrer, and Olivia Spencer.
Following the parade, the attention goes to the Jones Park area where you will find a full evening of entertainment. The Lions Club will be serving food for purchase. The continuation of the carnival will be in full swing with a variety of rides for all ages. The America 250 historical display continues in the Rec. building; Bingo beginning at 7:00 in the Community Building; Live Band featuring Delta Haze starting at 7:00, east of the Community Building.
