Kiwanis Builders Club Week

Kiwanis International designated the third week in March as an annual observance of Kiwanis Builders Club Week.

The Builders Club is a Service Leadership Program (SLP) sponsored by the Osage City Kiwanis. Ably guided by faculty/staff members and Kiwanis advisor, Builders Club is made up of middle school students who are interested in developing leadership skills and self-improvement. It is the largest SLP at the three schools.

The club is very active at the school and in the community with various activities such as fundraising, paper recycling in conjunction with the Kiwanis Club, operating concession stands during games, planning the Christmas dance, visiting Vintage Park retirement community, choosing students of the month and other activities. The club was chartered in 1999 at OCMS.
